Jonathan Smith began his safety career as an associate at Walmart, where he earned Safety Associate of the Month. That small award was the catalyst for a career in safety. He spent the next two decades learning and applying safety standards to every position he held, whether on the manufacturing floor as a sand blaster or as a safety specialist on multiple military bases. Smith began his consulting firm after working with a growing manufacturing plant that had no safety procedures or programs in place. The gratitude from the employees and management team inspired him to provide his services to other small- and medium-sized businesses.
