Hames received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene from Ohio University. She has achieved recognition as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP). She is a member of the AIHA Ergonomics Committee and the Ohio University College of Health Sciences and Professions Dean’s Advisory Council.
